A Toad in the hole

At precisely a quater past two, Mr Frog turned up in a new suit of blue.  He had been to the tailors that very morn, he had spoken of his beautiful wife and their frog spawn. He had arrived at the Croquet club, now awash with his favourite team, who had taken up their positions on the green.

” Mr Frog how nice of you to join us today,” said Mr Toad in his old brown suit,” fancy a cup of tea and an arrowroot?”

” No thank you,” said Mr Frog ,” I’m in a bit of a hurry, Mrs Frog is waiting

The Spider befriended a Fly

Curtsy Currant

Curtsy Currant, so cute and clean, had come out of a pair of jeans left in the washing machine. She stood on a table looking purplelicious, a beautiful currant juicy and delicious.  When all of a sudden alone in a house, she heard scratching noises from a little mouse.  He scurried frantically across the kitchen floor, Curtsy got stuck to his ear as he made for the door.  The cat flap was open to his relief, it had been propped up by a blown in leaf.
