Poem A Thorney Rose

You may see the rose and not the thorns.
You may see only the thorns and not the rose.
You may see both rose and thorns on equal terms.
For every rose has a thorn and every thorn a rose.
Both are in harmony with each other.
This is how they survive the ever-changing season.
One may diminish in hard times and the other take over.
One may flourish or strike out in independence of the other.
The harmony is created only through interdependence; Collision
The Gardner may be seeing the rose for what it is and accepting it.
The beauty and the beast.
He may have a gloved hand.
He needs protection from it.
He can handle its defences while promoting its existence.
